Challenge

In 2019, Spotify On Stage returned to Jakarta for the third time. Spotify wants to make it bigger than ever with seamless execution compared to the previous years. Around D-day of the event, there were several music events taking place as well, hence we need to do extra works to get media attention.

Solution

Spotify and Maverick conducted the media sessions close to the concert start time and escorted the media to the VIP concert area right after to make sure they arrive on time and get the best experience. Maverick also worked closely with Spotify to prepare back-to-back media sessions, briefed all spokespersons including international rapper Rich Brian and K-Pop sensation ATEEZ, distributed three announcements, and handled on-ground assistance to ensure seamless execution of the concert.

Result

The concert ran really well and received positive feedback from the journalists as the best media treatment among all previous arrangements. The event got 119 articles, on top of huge social media conversations.
